Has anyone here seen the musical Wicked! I just saw it last night and fell in love with it. Next I plan on reading the book and getting the movie and soundtrack for christmas.
What were your thoughts, comments, you know what did you think, favorite sceene(s).
I also found it on DVD on Amazon.con. but my aunt said it wasn't a movie. is it or isn't it.
I love Wicked! I got the soundtrack from a friend before I saw the musical; but we went to LA a while back and I got to see the musical then. I loved it, though I wish I could have seen the people on the soundtrack perform. That'd be Idina Menzel and Cristin Chenoweth, and no I didn't spell them right - Idina as Elphaba and Chenoweth as Glinda. It would have been so awesome.
As it was, I loved the musical anyway. And I am in the process of reading the book; I downloaded it from Audible.com. It's pretty good.
Love love love love love loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove Wicked... I also got the sound track before I saw the musical ad it completely amazed the crap out of me. No. It isn't a movie I believe, but God it should be.
I love the musical wicked as well. I love the interesting take it presents as well, quite fascinating. And yes, very totally awesome sound track.
yes, but there are distinct differences between the book and the musical, the book is darker, more for an adult audience, and the musical is more for the light hearted humor of it. the musical was funny, and yes, would of been good with the origional cast, but, from what I hear on the soundtrack, they don't sound that much different from the ones who were in the musical, even if I know they are.
